Description
This kit allows you to build the BAC Lifting-body Glider proposed to test the approach and landing characteristics of the full size Multi-Unit Space Transport and Recovery Device – MUSTARD. This project was being developed by the UK in the late 1960s.
Planned to be built cheaply using a welded steel tubular structure covered in plywood, fitted with a lightweight ejection seat, and the option to carry a recovery rocket in the tail. Undercarriage was to be fixed, using existing light aircraft components (type not specified).
Complete resin kit with screen printed decals by Fantasy Printshop and vacform canopies by Rob Taurus. Cast by CMR in the Czech Republic, with decal options for proposed RAE colour schemes included.
