News for August 2025

Welcome to the latest news update. Firstly my apologies for the lack of updates since December, Freightdog is managed in my spare time, which there hasn’t been much of lately. I’m currently working on new products for Scale Modelworld in November.

The main release at the show will be my first Skybirds’86 range re-issue, a complete kit of the Percival Prentice in 1/72. Based on the original short run plastic kit by Mike Eacock, the masters are currently with CMR for resin casting. A vacform canopy has been produced by Rob Taurus in crystal clear PETG. The white metal parts originally provided will now be supplied in resin.

A number of smaller items are also expected, including a couple formerly available in the Aeroclub range, and some other Freightdog sets that have been unavailable for some time. More details will be available nearer to the show.

Also coming will be another conversion set in the Guerrilla Models range.  A cooperation with Jon Davies and David Little at Combat Kits, aimed at lesser-known conflicts such as counter insurgencies, proxy-wars and border disputes predominantly taking place during the Cold War.

Due to changes in Tariff rules and current uncertainty, from 25th August I will no longer to able to accept orders to the United States.
