British WW1 fighter, summer 1918. Conceived as a successor to the Camel, the Snipe used the more powerful Bentley BR2 rotary engine of later versions of the Camel. Used famously by the air ace Barker, the snipe went on to serve in the fledgling RAF well into the 1920's, as well as the Russian Air Force and Brazilian Navy. Blue Max kits contain main parts in short run injection moulded plastic, with cast pewter detail parts and screen printed decals. Limited production run of 1500 kits only.
